White Rock Houses / Residential Detached Homes

The average price of a home in White Rock (detached) increased 10.2% from January 2008 to February 2008 to 0,121. Compared to the same period in 2007, prices were up a staggering 18.4%.  The average White Rock house price last year at this time was 4,378. February 2008 was a good month for White Rock housing sales compared to January.  There were 65 White Rock Houses sold in February 2008, up from 45 sold in January but down from the 83 sold in February 2007.

White Rock Condos

The average price of a white rock condo dropped slightly to 4,025 in February (from 4,604 in January). That said, we are still looking at very healthy increases in condo / apartment values over the same period last year. The average price last year for February was 5,908 resulting in a price increase of 3.8%.  There were 41 White Rock condos sold in February 2008, up from the 25 that sold in January and very close to the 45 that were sold in February 2007.

White Rock Townhouses

The average price of a White Rock Townhouse dropped 2.9% in February 2008 to 1,706 (compared to January).  However, compared to the same period in 2007, prices were up a very strong  26.4%. The average price for a White Rock townhouse in February 2007 was only $389,550.  Like the residential detached market, the White Rock Townhouse market was active in November 2007 compared to October AND compared to the same time last year. There were 30 White Rock townhouses sold November 2007, up from 21 sold in January and down from the 39 sold in February 2007.
