VanCity Credit Union offers the "Mixer Mortgage"

Vancity has begun offering joint mortgages to buyers pooling on a purchase. VanCity calls it a “mixer mortgage” and it basically allows up to four non-married people, to pool their downpayments and incomes to qualify for a mortgage loan. Each party’s name appears on the title for the property, but the owners decide how the costs will be divided amongst the partners.
