Canadian mortgage and equipment finance company, MCAP, and MBNA Canada Bank have entered into a partnership to offer a loyalty credit card programme to consumers. Not only can consumers use MCAP WorldPoints for any kind of travel, accommodation, or for purchasing merchandise, but they can now also earn points to use to reduce their mortgage. Customers earn one point for each dollar spent on retail purchases. They receive 1,000 bonus points with their first retail purchase and an additional 1,000 points on every anniversary.
